An impossible geometric shape has been created on vintage watercolour paper with painted edges in sky blue, dark blue and metallic bronze.
Using a magazine page from the 1950's as a backdrop where little people on the ground are looking up at the phenomenon that is presented.
Rhomboid and rhombus shapes have been filled with clouds and sky from the same era and forms an abstract over the existing scene beckoning the viewer to look closer and question what's occurring.

The collage has been backed for stability before flat mounting onto off-white A4 paper with a 2cm border. Careful consideration and planning of placement has also been taken in this piece to produce a clean and uncomplicated finish all new paper used is acid free and archival glue. Watercolour paper was gessoed prior to working on also.

I'm offering this unframed but I do have a white, A4 6cm deep box frame in acrylic with real glass and a thin 1cm facing edge. If you're in the UK and would like this option please contact me prior to purchase so that I can give you a quote. Otherwise this will be sent tissue wrapped and flat, sandwiched in double wall cardboard and placed in a sturdy envelope box, tracked and signed for peace of mind.

Materials used:

Vintage + new paper, glue and acrylic paint.
