My first and only trip to Portugal certainly won't be my last. The land of egg based pastries, sardines and steep streets conjured many beautiful scenes and this was but one in Lisbon.

Struck by the marriage of turquoise and magenta, the balcony looked like it had watched the comings and goings of Lisboa silently for decades perhaps centuries and was something I had to paint.

The following photos show the artwork exhibited in Paris this year alongside talented ceramicist Pomme Lestang.

Framed in a hand made pine frame.

Materials used:

Oil and acrylic on board, mounted in a handmade pine frame.
