Original artwork description
Two figures stand side by side at the water’s edge, their forms softening, dissolving into a violet haze. What remains is not a scene, but a trace — a memory suspended between presence and disappearance. Transparent layers of acrylic evoke the way moments shared with someone close often linger in us: blurred, fragile, yet deeply alive.
Part of my Peripheral Archive series, this painting speaks about memory as atmosphere rather than image. It carries the intimacy of a fleeting glance, the quiet bond of a couple standing together, the tender feeling of love that reveals itself not in clarity but in the spaces between — romantic, personal, timeless.
The painting will be shipped unframed, stretched on stretcher bars. Signed on the back. Painted edges, ready to hang.
The artwork will be dispatched within 14 days.
Any international shipment may be liable to Customs and Excise Duty as well as Value Added Tax payments.
COMMISSION AVAILABLE
If you’re drawn to this approach, I also create similar works on commission. These are not traditional portraits, but personal visual reflections — abstracted, intuitive, and open-ended — based on photographs you provide. I work mostly in small and medium formats (30×30 cm to 50×70 cm), using acrylic on canvas. You receive a unique, hand-painted work that resonates with your story — not by reproducing it, but by evoking its texture. If you're interested, feel free to contact me. I'm happy to discuss ideas, formats, and availability.
