This series of paintings is dedicated to the Armenian Genocide.
A heavy white silence presses down upon a fractured lower world of deep green, black, yellow, and crimson — life persisting beneath the weight of erasure. A vivid red form spirals upward on the left like a cry or a flame, while thin black lines cut diagonally across the composition with restless, unresolved tension. Orange drips from the upper edge like congealing blood, and a dark strip of forest green anchors the top — nature continuing indifferently above human tragedy. Painted with raw, unflinching emotion in oil on canvas by Senia Baloyan, this work speaks of survival, resistance, and enduring memory.
