Fonthill Park, Wiltshire
Hot and humid day,
As I walked across the Tisbury coral fields,
Covered in golden grasses and dried summer seed heads,
Mesmerising sky,
Shades of olive green trees.

Words and expression of being here recently in the fifth heatwave.
Original expressive watercolour landscape.
Crested on Fabriano watercolour paper cold pressed 300gsm 140lb.
I used a wet on wet sporadic backwashes in a three colour technique. Scrubbing technique for the trees using a Japanese mop squirrel hair brush. Dragging the paint upwards with a Chinese brush for the grasses and a filbert brush for mark making.
Signed on the front and back of watercolour.
