About Vladimir Makeev

I am an artist, designer, sculptor and graffitist from Russia. Graduated from St. A.L. Stieglitz (St. Petersburg Art and Industry Academy) Department of Graphic Design. Mostly make the sculptures of bronze, sometimes of wood, work in graphics on paper - drawing, pencil and collage. For the collages use acrylic on canvas. I am interested in spatial composition in the plane, the relationship and interaction of forms. Minimalism is close to me. In volume, in sculpture, I am inspired by clean, clear lines of form, which tend to the degree of conventionality and even to the sign. And the main questions in creation for me are the rhythm and dynamics.
