  • Biography
    Painting is my passion. I studied fine arts at the republican high school of art and at university in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. I prefer landscapes and portraits. My desire is to convey the atmosphere and mood. Switzerland, the country where I live now, is particularly beautiful. The landscape of this country inspires me to create. In my paintings I try to portray the state of nature and convey only positive emotions. I paint in oil paints and acrylic paints in an impressionistic and abstract style.

    Chisinau, July 29. / MOLDPRES /. An exhibition of the plastic artist Victor Marinescu and his disciples was inaugurated yesterday at the "Constantin Brâncuşi" Center in the capital, informs MOLDPRES.

    The exhibition includes 115 works made by the painter and his students over the years.

    Asked by MOLDPRES, the doctor of arts, Eleonora Brigalda, mentioned that Victor Marinescu is a born artist. "It manifested itself in easel painting and graphics, mural painting, iconography and sculpture. He had several appearances in the field of scenography. His main vocation is as a teacher, who trained a whole generation of talented painters ", stated Eleonora Brigalda.

    In his turn, the plastic artist Andrei Mudrea stated that the opening of this exhibition is a special event. "On his 75th birthday, teacher and painter Victor Marinescu was able to organize a personal exhibition.
