Hi! I am a watercolor artist based in India.
I was always passionate about drawing and painting since childhood. Being born in a family of traditional merchants, I could not formally study art. But I don't have any regrets as I believe that it's my passion that make me an artist, and not my qualifications. On the contrary, being a self-taught artist has helped me evolve an individual style rather than fetter me into one school of painting.
Painting for me is a way of celebrating beauty all around us, be it nature, the old buildings, people and their activities, which, a normal person can easily miss as he or she goes about his or her daily job. So in a sense, Art is a revelation, a way to communicate what I feel and see, with others and revealing the beauty of mundane things in life.
