Biography
The subjects for my art come from a wide variety of sources, from an overwhelming mountain in Patagonia to a lonely guy at the end of the bar. When an idea keeps coming back weeks, months or even years after it first occurred, it will eventually find its way to paper or canvas.
I usually have a clear vision of what I want the finished work to look like, but some paintings seem to take over and go where they want. Fortunately, these rogues often turn out better than my original plan, so I try to stay open to the new direction.
