  • Biography
I live on the Kent coast and am a self taught artist.  I have been represented by several galleries and exhibited widely both in the UK and abroad .My designs have sold internationally as greetings cards, wrapping paper, stationary and mugs. Also my work has been published as fine art prints and sold in numerous galleries.
I work in oils and aim to paint every day, if I go too long without painting I get very angsty. Painting is like my best friend and I am lost without it. I am trying to create an emotional response to nature in my work and very often its a fleeting moment of light that inspires me. I am lucky enough to live by the sea and also be surrounded by beautiful countryside. I am incredibly touched by nature and I love the different seasons and the varying moods they create.I walk everyday and make sketches and am continually amazed at how everyday the light is different, creating a different mood.
