I paint the figures history has already told us we know, kings, saints, heroines, and ask what's left of them once you take away the costume. My work sits at the crossroads of art history, gender, and the stories we keep repeating without noticing.

I trained at the École Supérieure d'Art de Bretagne, and found my voice in figuration in 2009, working almost exclusively in oil ever since. In 2010 I received the special jury prize at ArToulouse, and my work has since shown widely across France and found its way into private and public collections, as well as publications like The Art of Men USA, Beaux-Arts Magazine, and Parcours des Arts.

What interests me most is the moment a familiar image stops being familiar, a queen with a modern silhouette, a saint before sainthood, a myth stripped of its landscape. I'm always happy to talk about a piece before you buy it, or to discuss a commission built around a subject that means something to you.
