       As a romantic, expressionist painter, Mihaela Ionescu dedicates her work to the colours and sounds of music. She starts with an empty canvas and lets the music inspire her. Over the years she has had various national and international exhibitions, most recently in Berlin, Germany. From brightness to darkness, to the infinite tones of colours, she tries to evoke the same feelings that she felt when she painted from the viewer. She works primarily with oils and gives a spacial effect to the texture of the painting. Mihaela’s art is most influenced by music and films, finding the real expression of the human’s feelings.
