Biography
I have painted in watercolour from pencil sketches drawn in the field to studio paintings for 20 years. Recently I have started to paint collage with acrylics.
Architecture always seems to appear in my painting and being a surveyor has given me an understanding of linear perspective.
My favourite subjects are the coastal fishing villages of England, Scotland and Wales with Staithes in North Yorkshire being my top place to visit and paint.
