About Luke Owen
Biography
Luke Owen’s art is often described as original and unique, uplifting and inspirational, calming and healing, connected and grounded and, at times, challenging but always profoundly honest.
This self taught artist's work combines the spiritual, soulful, emotional and psychological. Each piece is an inner journey and is created from his own internal process and vision as well as guidance from the universe. All of his paintings are a stand alone story, each expressing a profound or inspiring experience. This artist seeks to strike a balance between light and dark, which often invokes a deep poignant connection and emotional response in the viewer.
In his own words: My work is a combination of inner guidance and the enlightening realisations that come from my own journey of transformation. It is about the search for simplicity and balance within myself and in all things. My paintings reflect my journey, and our journey, towards simple, spiritual, profound and fundamental truth.
Luke Owen currently works and exhibits in his studio and gallery, Luke Owen galerie, in Rennes-le-Château, southern France.
