State of Art Landscape and Portrait
41 Landscape & Portrait Artists
154 full colour pages, 209 illustrations including artist statements and biographies.
This is the sixth book in The State of Art, art book series and explores some of the more traditional subjects and techniques that artists are seeking to represent. The title alludes to the format of an image as well as the composition of the subject matter, with many artists
maintaining a much more traditional approach.
In this book are featured landscape paintings that I completed whilst living in Malvern UK.

Biography
´There exists a correlation between the soul, place, and destiny, and my paintings serve as a representation of this connection¨.
Kirsty Wain, a talented contemporary British painter currently based in Spain, explores the profound connection between the soul, place, and destiny through her artwork, which has been featured in prestigious exhibitions such as 'Being with Trees' in Gibraltar and 'Regeneration' at the Hansard Studio in London. Her pieces, which focus on the beauty of landscapes, can be found in private collections worldwide, as she employs color and line to capture the true essence of each location with a sense of liberation and individuality.
Kirsty Wainś landscape art endeavors to encapsulate the intrinsic nature of a location by employing a liberal approach, utilizing color and line to construct a harmonious arrangement. The influence of post-impressionism resonates throughout her creations, characterized by the application of thick, textured paint onto the canvas. Enthused by the perpetual beauty of the natural world, Kirsty Wain finds inspiration in the intricate details of trees, the undulating contours of the terrain, the vastness of the ocean, and the captivating allure of the skies. Each place holds significance for Wain, evoking vivid recollections of a fleeting instant or a poignant memory.
