I create Art to explore my own emotional abyss and through my work I encourage others to do the same. My paintings are multi layered, merging both abstract and figurative elements, with a strong emphasis on colour and how colour drives personal associations. The central theme in my work is "looking behind the curtain", as I am fascinated by the exploration of the hidden. I work with bold colours and strong textures to provoke movement, elicit mysticism, and engage the viewer's subconscious.

I work in acrylic and mixed media on Canvas and encaustic and oils on wood. My style is provocative and engaging. I create multiple layers and structures, suggesting movement and change.

In my paintings I explore the complex facets of humankind- highs and lows, light and shadows, beauty and distortion, love and hate.
