    Katherine Green was born in Fairfield County, Connecticut and studied fine arts at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she graduated Magnum, Cum Laude BFA. Classically trained in painting, Katherine’s process often involves developing a concept through the use of photography and travel to unique locations for inspiration. She often focuses on pastoral landscapes, nautical scenes and cultural reflection. Katherine’s goal is to capture the experience of freedom, safety, security at a place or moment in time.

    Katherine’s paintings and photography have been sold to corporate America and private patrons. She is a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, and she has been selected twice for PONCHO’s prestigious invitational collection.
