About Julia Grande
Biography
Hello.
My name is Julia. My style of painting depends on my mood and state of mind at the moment. Sometimes my works convey dynamics, movement and rhythm, and sometimes calmness.
I place great emphasis on color and texture. I love beautiful colors and colors that are pleasing to the eyes. Through colors, I want to convey happiness and magic of this world, as well as lightness, freshness, and clarity.
I have always been creative, so making art for me is a way of transforming creative energy into something beautiful and something that can give joy to somebody else. For me, painting is a way of knowing myself, my inner self.
I get inspiration from nature, flowers, colors and everything that is beautiful. I also work part-time as a florist in a flower store so a lot of inspiration I get from there.
I prefer acrylic paint and I enjoy to work with different mediums such as modeling paste to create a texture. I use all sorts of tools, from brushes and palette knives to my fingers.
