Joan Mato (born 24 May 2002 in Pogradec, Albania) is a painter and multimedia artist. He graduated from Muharrem Collaku High School in Pogradec before earning a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia from the University of Arts, Tirana (2020–2023), followed by a Master's degree in Painting and Art Teaching (2024–2026).

Painting has been a central part of Joan's life since childhood. Growing up in Pogradec, surrounded by its distinctive landscapes and the beauty of Lake Ohrid, has deeply influenced his artistic vision. Working en plein air plays an important role in his practice, allowing him to capture the atmosphere, light, and emotion of the places that inspire him.

His work focuses primarily on landscapes, still lifes, and compositions inspired by personal experiences, memories, and quiet everyday moments. Through his paintings, he seeks to create a sense of reflection and connection between people and place.

Joan aims to share his work with collectors worldwide, build meaningful connections with those who appreciate original art, and continue developing his career as a professional artist.
