About Jacek Falmur

Biography

Jacek Falmur – photographer, traveller and a manager of Adventura hostel in Warsaw. I also run a photo and travel workshops.
I specialize in color landscape and street photography, which is my way to tell a story about traveling, people and my relations with them. I do it by capturing and showing off their feelings and emotions.
I've gained my photographic experience during multiple trips around the world. I have been to Tibet, Syria, Lebanon, Kashmir, Iran, Mongolia, to name a few. I traveled through Tibet hitchhiking, passed a several most dangerous Himalayan roads using local transport, participated in the Gobi Desert expedition, spent some time in Cambodian villages. These are just some of the places I had reached. Hitchiking or using local transport is my favorite way of traveling. I like to seat on benches or curbs and watch local people, or get lost within the unknown city and then find my way back. These adventures give me opportunity to meet interesting people and get off the beaten track.

At this moment ma favourite camera is Olympus OMD em5 Mark II but I used to take photos with Zenit camera as well as Nikon.
