About Heather Matthews

I have a passion for art and am inspired by the natural world. I work hard, experiment and challenge myself. It's so rewarding to start with a blank canvas and transform it into an artwork that can brighten someone's home or work environment and become part of their lives and memories.                                                                                                                  I paint in oils, watercolour, acrylics and mixed media and I find the different qualities of each medium bring out a different facet to my painting.                                                        Some of my paintings have a textured, sculptural or slightly 3d effect to them and they look amazing under lights.                                                                                                My paintings and detailed prints can be found in private collections across America, Canada, Singapore, South Africa, and many European countries, as well as the UK.
