  • Biography
Working as a freelance artist all my life, I initially started by painting murals for both domestic and commercial interiors before the advent of digital photography opened my art to digital artwork and design. In recent years I have returned to more traditional artwork , especially with graphite pencils which have always been my favourite medium, although colour pencils, penwork and painting are also used. My preferences of subject are landscapes and seascapes taken from various travels around Britain and Europe.

We live in a world of fast, or even instant, gratification and are bombarded with images every day. I like my art to have less of a quick "wow" factor and have more detail and structure that makes the viewer pause, slow down and study. It's very therapeutic to do and it's my wish that it's equally therapeutic to my audience.
