I’ve always been drawn to the ocean and the feeling of life on vacation: present, unhurried, and full of light. My paintings are a kind of diary, a collection of moments I’ve loved and wanted to hold onto. Trained as an architect, my work is shaped by structure and process, but its soul comes from time spent in the water, beneath the Hawaiian sun. I’m inspired by the people I love, by memory, and by the dream of escape. Each painting is a glimpse of that dream, a vacation that never ends.
