About DUEALBERI

DUEALBERI is a creative duo based in Italy based and represents the combined artistic talents of Antonia G. and Fabio D,  since 2010, specialized in the creation of abstract paintings and large art prints for home decor, interior design, and contemporary spaces.

Duealberi's art is in numerous private collections and has been chosen also for many cinematographic art scenes appearing in Warner Bros series for several seasons.

 Duealberi works closely with interior designers and decorators on different projects all over the world, mainly in the U.S., Australia, U.K., Europe, Japan, with over 3000 artworks sold to collectors in more than 42 countries.

In their colorful works, they explore the unconventional and the vital through the lens of childlike freedom. Pictorial gestures free from control bring on the canvas a complete abstraction of reality, strokes and compositions are intuitive, gestural, natural, spontaneous, while the use of bold and fresh colors with a playful attitude brings a contrasted expression of life, yet optimistic, light, joyful and frank. Duealberi's vibrant paintings are made with multiple layers of different media and enhanced through the use of acrylics, oils and charcoal on canvas or wood.

Their artistic process, which involves inspiration, study and execution, is shared between them both as a mutual and evergoing creative interaction.

STATEMENT

Our art is the playground. It is a when the adult becomes the child again and rediscovers a forgotten level of perception. It is the true self that comes out again unfiltered, yet with mature knowledge.

Being an interweaved duo, and having been Influenced in the earlier years by pictorial and photographic studies of nature and at the same time by architectural background, we now constantly research the interconnection between the natural freeform and the geometrical, expressed as well as contrast at a chromatic level.

Our work attempts to recreate thoughts, which may represent an environment or an experience. Strokes and compositions are completely intuitive, gestural, natural, spontaneous, while the use of bold and fresh colors with a playful attitude brings each time a contrasted expression, yet optimistic, vital, light spirited, joyful and frank vision of life.

Each work is a progressive evolution of a process, which involves, inspiration, study and execution which is shared between both as mutual and evergoing creative interaction.

ARTISTS & FOUNDERS:
Antonia & Fabio Duealberi - two full time artists. Both actively leave their “standard job” starting from 2010. The first step was made by Antonia, M.A. in Literature that gave up a successful corporate communications manager job to pursue her newly found connection with creativity and painting. Then followed by Fabio, M.A. in Architecture, full time involved in construction design & project management, leaved it all behind.

We both gave up our standard job and regular paycheck to pursue something greater and much more valuable for us. We took a leap of faith in exploring our artistic side and creating our own job. We really love what we do and enjoy creating abstract paintings and prints for home interiors, set decor, and hotel decor.
