I am obsessed with art and especially acrylic painting and mixed media. I love to explore imaginative new ways to create art like layering opaque and transparent paint, adding hand-painted collage papers, mono-print techniques, using brayers and palette knives to create unique textures and using a wide-variety of mark-making materials. These elements come together to create work that is striking from a distance and even more interesting when viewed close up.

The portraits I create can be emotional, dark, sad, fun, or amusing. It is all flowing my closely held emotions and life experiences. The creative process is very cathartic for me and has helped me get through the most difficult times of a full life. 

 I'm driven by the belief that my next piece with be my best work ever. I hope that my work resonates with you too.
