  • Biography

Dmytro Yeromenko is an self-taught artist based in Mariupol, Ukraine. Traveling through Europe, Dmytro  worked a lot in open air Spain, Ukraine and France. He mostly works with acrylics, the main direction is realism with great attention to details .

     -  I was very fond of drawing from childhood, but my life decided that I had to graduate from a technical university. I like my job as an engineer. But the desire to draw has not disappeared. There was no courage. At one of the workshops 01/24/2015 I chose for myself my own line-up of objects for a still life. The Syrian artist praised my work and advised me to start independent work. It was on this day, during the master class, that the shelling of my city by the separatists, supported by the aggressor of the neighboring country, took place. People died. This event dramatically affected my desire to leave something behind. A year later, while in Spain, I asked my daughter for acrylic paints, bought a canvas and went to the embankment to paint an open-air. My first independent work was wonderful, I got a lot of inspiration, I returned to Ukraine and began to actively paint. I really like my hobby and I want people to like my work.

Still life, seascapes, landscapes, urbanism and the views of his native Ukraine are main sunbjects in his works .

Dmytro has been working most actively since 2016. In recent years he created over 180 artwork that were sold to different countries all over the world.

His paintings are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Spain, Great Britain, Norway, Scotland, Poland, Armenia and Ukraine.

The prints of his works are sold in Europe and the United States of America.

Also he participated and was a host of different art events offline and online.
