He works alla prima , outside with acrylics and/or oils. He considers himself as a modern landscape/seascape outdoor artist. He paints mostly the light and the effect upon objects. He enjoys being on the water painting on a sunny day. He paints in an impressionistic way and he enjoys being outside and try to capture the fleeting moment. There is more than copying nature he says He can hear the birds and feel the wind and he enjoys the immediacy of the result. He enjoys meeting people and geting some quick reactions about my work. He enjoys a lot the challenge of quick drawing and painting and off course mother nature! He has had around 25 solo exhibitions staring from 1998. His work can be found in private homes as well as international organisations and museums. He has won several awards and he currently participates in plein air festivals and competitions all over the world.
