About Arunas Miliukas

Works of the painter Arunas Miliukas are like one endless illusion, balancing between reality and myth. Always original and unpredictable, inspiring life to unearthly inhabitants of distant worlds with his fantasy. The subtle colors and mist lingering in the air makes the audience wonder - is this a dream I had tonight? His work reflects the most secret human thoughts and questions: who are we and where are we from, where we live, what is real in our life, and perhaps the life itself is just a dream?

In 1993 A. Miliukas has graduated from the Arts Faculty of Siauliai University (former pedagogical institute), and since 1997 participates in art exhibitions. The artist creates original, multi-layered painting technique. For the most part personally takes care of proper frame selection for his paintings, and if he doesn't find appropriate frames - creates them himself.
