Nikolay Dmitriev is a Member of International Association of Art, the second generation artist.

Nikolay's creative activity is devoted to studying nature. That is why his favorite kind of painting is plein-air painting. There are a lot of beautiful states of nature that are very inspiring. An important role is played by the choice of the plot scenery. During research and production new areas of interest arise and lead to the next body of work. Nikolay also likes painting flowers, especially lilacs.

«I remember when I was a boy, I was walking with my parents and saw the most beautiful sunset. At that very moment I sensed a fine interconnection with nature.
