Biography
I’m Adriana Dziuba, a contemporary painter working in textured acrylics and palette‑knife techniques. My practice centres on capturing the emotional atmosphere of places, cities alive with movement and light, and coastlines shaped by colour, rhythm, and shifting weather. Over time, I developed a distinctive style built on bold texture and expressive mark‑making, a direction affirmed when my vibrant New York cityscape "Rain in New York" was featured in the 100th edition of VOGUE Magazine. That recognition gave me the confidence to continue exploring this unique visual language and to focus on the wonders of cityscapes and landscapes from around the world.
My urban paintings draw inspiration from New York, London, and Sydney, where reflections, crowds, and shifting light transform everyday streets into cinematic scenes. My landscapes offer a softer rhythm, influenced by the luminous coasts of Sydney, the pastel charm of Procida, the waterways of Venice, and the cliffside villages of Riomaggiore and Vernazza.
Working with acrylics allows me to build rich, layered textures quickly and intuitively. My goal is to capture not just the appearance of a place, but its atmosphere — the feeling of being there, surrounded by its energy or its quiet. Whether you’re drawn to the pulse of a city or the calm of a coastal landscape, I hope my work offers a sense of connection, memory, and mood that lingers long after viewing.
