An original, handmade collage of Kings College Chapel, Cambridge.

King’s College Chapel is one of the most iconic buildings in Cambridge and took over a century to build. King’s College was founded by Henry VI in 1441 and it's chapel in 1446 when it's first stone was laid on St. James’ Day on 25th July, 1446.

This collage is made up of a variety of paper materials that reflect the rich history and eminent alumni of the college.
It includes; the college's founding history, poetry from John Milton, Rupert Brooke and William Wordsworth and behind the chapel windows the music of 'Once in Royal David's city' can be found. The first carol sung at the world famous Christmas Eve nine lessons carols service.

This picture comes framed in a simple white, wood frame with double ivory mount. A description of the contents of the collage is signed and attached to the back.

Mix of papers; patterned and text. Sealed with Matte medium.
