Yosemite Red (2003)Photograph by Gary Moger

60.96 x 60.96 x 0.25cm (unframed) / 58.42 x 58.42cm (actual image size)

£795

Photographed late evening in Yosemite National park in California on film. I could smell woodsmoke from the controlled fires at the time, it was August 2003.

I had a Hasselblad camera with me and just sat taking in the energy of the whole landscape. A peaceful environment. You can see the film grain, and the tree shadows give a deep black tone in print.

All my work is full frame, not cropped and as it was in life. I print each image and no not outsource anything. I use the finest archival paper by Hahnemuhle, usually Bamboo for it's tonal range and environmental credentials.

Materials used:

Hasselblad camera, Kodak portrait VC film, Hahnemuhle Bamboo Archival paper
