Original Abstract Acrylic Painting

Yellow Flowers is an original abstract acrylic painting inspired by the colour, energy and organic forms found in nature.

The composition combines vibrant yellow with flowing areas of black, white and contrasting tones, creating forms that suggest flowers emerging and moving across the canvas.

Rather than depicting flowers realistically, I wanted to capture their energy and colour in a more spontaneous way. The fluid movement of the paint allowed organic shapes and intricate patterns to develop naturally, giving the painting a sense of movement and individuality.

This work belongs to an earlier period of my artistic practice when I was exploring abstract and fluid acrylic techniques alongside my developing interest in realism.

The painting was created using professional artist-quality acrylic paints and texture medium on cotton canvas. The surface was finished with protective gloss varnish, enhancing the depth and vibrancy of the colours.
