Yellow Blooms is an original acrylic painting on canvas by Suzanne Vaughan. An abstract expressionist style tonal painting with textural transitions of nature's yellows and greens suggestive of a lush green field with an abundance of yellow flowers glistening in the Summer sun. The paint is applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface.
Painted on a piece of canvas with an extra 4 inches around the 40” x 40” painting which allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame. When stretched onto a 1.5" gallery wrap frame the painting extends around the sides.
