Original artwork description
Wet surfaces of metal roofs catch the last light of the evening. From this height, people would seem like tiny ants, each busy with their own burrows, heading toward their small destinations. Everyone in a hurry, especially in a city like Warsaw — trying their best to make meaning out of the everyday rush.
The blues dominate the foreground, while the orange glow in the distance breaks the usual academic rules of composition. The windows remain black and hollow, as if the city were empty — or haunted.
