Original artwork description:
WOLF ARNOLD is a small wolf with a big belly and a funny big nose, part of the CalbinoOz series.
Like many CalbinoOz sculptures, he wears a knitted jumper made from individually crafted wood cellulose, in a duck blue colour.
His trousers and the collar of his undershirt are painted in a very pale bluish white grey.
Like any good wolf, he has two prominent fangs protruding from his muzzle, which is made from a mahogany pod.
As calabashes are very light once emptied of their seeds and skins, this one has been filled with red clay balls to weigh it down and give it more stability.
The piece is signed under the buttocks.
Material: dried calabash wood and small wood, superfine wood cellulose, blown glass, mahogany shell, acrylic paint and protective varnish.
