Sometimes to just go with the tide, is the way to be, relaxed, chilled out, not struggling, but enjoying, savouring every last juicy bit of every day!

WHAT IS A LINOCUT?: a large hand printed , hand inked linocut, I cut the lino shapes, ink them up and put them through my etching press, for every print the fish have to be inked again. I also add a technique called chine colle, where you paste papers onto the print in the printing process, creating a collage on the paper "under" the printing. I have added a gorgeous hot turquoise hand made paper to 2 of the fish.
For this print I choose a piece of bright white heavy weight printmaking paper.

EDITION: As I choose different papers to print on, and print the fish, no print will ever be exactly like the next, I will vary colors etc through the edition, so an edition of 30, is there to give you an idea of the number of prints I will make using my fish, a very limited edition!

SIZE: "With the Tide" is printed in a gorgeous dark blue , on a piece of beautiful printmaking paper, with waterbased printmaking inks.
This is a Iarge print that measures 27" x 20 " (70 cm x 50 cm) with the actual printed area measuring 23" x 16" (58 cm x 40 cm )
The size makes it a real focal point for your room, and can be framed really large, it is so strong and present!
I have signed, titled and numbered the print.
