With "The Wisteria Solstice," I wanted to bottle the chaotic energy of nature at its absolute peak. This piece is a celebration of that magical, mid-summer moment where the garden feels alive, untamed, and overflowing with light. It isn't just a floral study; it’s a sensory explosion.

I’ve utilized an impasto technique, building the white roses into tactile forms that reach out from the canvas. The cascading wisteria is rendered in layers of violet and amethyst, punctuated by spontaneous drips and splatters that mirror the wild, unpredictable joy of a garden in full bloom. There is a deliberate play between the structure of the petals and the "whimsical chaos" of the background.

This is a large-scale statement of optimism. I created it to bring that sense of a permanent, sun-drenched summer into a home; a piece that doesn't just sit on a wall, but transforms the entire atmosphere of a room with its vibrant, unyielding spirit.
