Original artwork description
A large oil painting on block canvas inspired by a winter woodland near where I live. I've seen it in all seasons and have painted it in all seasons. I've become a bit obsessed with the reflections of the trees in the river running through it. This painting has been worked on over a number of days adding to layers and using various tools including plaster scrapers and big DIY brushes. The edges are painted in Paynes grey and the painting is ready to hang.
Materials used:
oil, Canvas, Wax Medium and Linseed oil.
