This watercolor is a memory from my trip to Shirokawa-go village in Gifu prefecture. There was a lot of snow, luckily not so many tourists and atmosphere was magical.
The house and all the man-made structures, rise pads are so intricately built in natural environment, everything seems to be in the right place.
I loved the balance of winter colors and tried to keep it by using limited color palette.
