Original artwork description
This is the second painting of this view made during winter. Looking south from the East Neuk Of Fife in Scotland over some dark muddy fields to the Forth Estuary. The sky was very clear. I liked the buildings silhouetted against the sky. In this version I added in the bare branches of a tree to add to the composition. I wanted to capture the still wintry atmosphere and sense of space. Framed and ready to hang on the wall.
