Wild Beach (2025)Collage

on the wild beach, on my little island in the south of Denmark, seagulls are kings and rule the roost. The beach always always brings me so much peace, and so much joy, it is a place of contemplation and a place of inspiration, a place to wander and just take in all the small things that live and thrive there.

On a piece of sandcolored heavy canvas, I have painted, and collaged and last free motion embroidered to get all the little details. Just the embroidering takes me several hours. When I am done, I add backing to the piece and sign it on the front in stitch.
This collage measures 30" wide and 27 " high (75 cm x 70 cm) , it has enough of a surround to stretch, or can be mounted on a board. I does not need to be behind glass unless you would like it to be.

I ship from my studio in Denmark, the collage comes rolled in a tube, the most economic way to ship something this size, and I pack with many years experience in packing my art so it arrives safely, see my lots of happy reviews.
