Whooper swan (2024) Original Acrylic Painting by Paul Ward

£260.15

A4 acrylic and pencil illustration of a whopping whooper swan.

These huge birds pair for life (most of which is spent entwining their necks in a heart shape for photographers and greeting card salespeople). Really I can't understate their size, during certain periods of infant growth, they have to stay in the water as their legs won't support their weight.

I had a blast doing some simple block printing to get this background texture.

A4 illustration in acrylic, pencil and ink on 250gsm paper.

Materials used:

Acrylic, ink and pencil on paper
