White, White Dove (2025)Oil painting

Inspired by a very pretty dove which sometimes visits my garden. It appears relaxed, unhurried in it's search for food. Perhaps this is why we traditionally view doves as a symbol of peace. This is a rather decorative interpretation, and the use of a palette knife introduces minimal texture and a contemporary vibe to an evocative painting.

It would pair well with 'Waiting for this Moment', depicting a blackbird, which is the same size and painted in a similar style.

This painting is sold unframed but is suitable to do so should you wish. I do not varnish my paintings , as I prefer the slightly chalky look of the oils as laid down. If you would like it varnished before sending, I can do so at no extra cost.

The painting is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and initialled on the front.

I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and signed for service. Please note that payment of import duty/tax is the responsibility of the buyer.
