These two paintings belong to the series "White Little Stories." Many layers of paint, some quite thick, cover the canvas. In some places, it has been scraped away down to almost the bottom layer. It is a wild composition of abstract art where paint is poured, flicked, or dripped directly onto a canvas in combination of sanding it down again to the layers beneath the surface.
Yet despite this dynamism, the soft tones reflect a tranquil atmosphere.
The diptych has a powerful presence; the texture allows the underlying layers to show through, and each viewer discovers a different story within it.
The predominant white gives the artwork an elegant and serene feel.
The two unstretched canvases of a size of 21 x 30 cm each come with metallic frames measuring 30 x 40 cm each.
