White Horses in a Dandelion Field

This painting was inspired by the quiet beauty of Nordic summer meadows. White horses move peacefully through a field of dandelions while countless seeds drift through the air, carried by the wind.

I wanted to create a feeling of freedom, lightness and wonder, where nature becomes almost dreamlike. The oversized dandelions blur the line between reality and imagination, inviting the viewer into a world of calm and possibility.

Painted in oil on canvas, the work combines soft pearl-grey, blue and earthy tones to capture the atmosphere of a bright Scandinavian summer day. It is part of my ongoing exploration of Nordic nature, memory and poetic landscapes.
