This statement piece is inspired by my daily walk taking in the majestic pine trees along the way. I love looking up through the branches. It gives you such a sense of freedom. They reach so far up into the sky. I've worked on this painting over a number of days building up the colour and texture using scrapers, palette knives and brushes. The edges are painted Paynes grey and this piece is ready to hang.

Oil, Canvas, Wax Medium and Linseed oil.
