Original artwork description:

I painted a couple of small views of this beach at Charmouth, in Dorset, some years ago, and always intended to return to the subject. This was actually a sharp, chilly November day, with a bracing wind. People always come down to walk their dogs, especially at low tide, in any weather. And kids will always find a puddle to jump in.

Materials used:

Highest quality artists' oil paint on heavy Italian linen canvas.
