Where Colors Meet - Diptych (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Anastassia Skopp
120 x 80 x 2cm (unframed) / 120 x 80cm (actual image size)
£1,215.66
Original artwork description
This diptych explores the idea of continuity across separate surfaces.
Two individual canvases are connected through flowing branches, scattered petals, and shifting colour accents that move beyond the boundaries of each painting. The composition is deliberately balanced between structure and openness, allowing the elements to appear both anchored and in motion.
The background consists of softly blended grey tones with subtle variations that create depth without dominating the foreground. Against this restrained base, vibrant colours—reds, yellows, blues, and greens—appear as controlled accents, giving the composition energy while maintaining clarity.
While each painting can stand on its own, the dialogue between the two canvases becomes fully visible when they are displayed together.
The diptych is designed exclusively for horizontal presentation.
