Original artwork description:

This is the second and concluding piece of a diptych exploring presence and revelation. Where the first portrait turned away, this figure turns toward the viewer, completing the dialogue. Her face is now fully met by the light, yet the expression holds a new, quiet complexity—a conscious choice to be seen.

Executed with the same minimalist mastery as its companion, the artwork uses stark contrasts of graphite and white gouache on A3 paper. The light now actively sculpts the features, "editing" the reality of her gaze, while the deep, silent field of the paper grounds her emerging presence. Together, the two portraits create a powerful narrative about interiority, connection, and the moments we choose to show ourselves.

Orientation: Portrait

Signature: Signed on the front
